In the early years when I first moved here, this community churches came together for the production of a play. The drama was dynamic blooming from talents that this town. The churches collaborated with the common ground that they found. Each actor put in a lot of practice and memorization for thr season. There was value in the coming together for a good cause. Many found Christ from the production of the resurrection of Christ. It was the finest hour I ever seen in Harvey.
Hind sight is an advantage point when we examine the ways or the seasons that are upon us now. Harvey has not declined in talents. Found the very foundations of this city, Harvey bursted with talent and strong music instruction. Whether it was the school productions, gospel in the Park, street bands, youth band, sing speration, or a million dollar band, Harvey has a pool of gifts.
Remember the youth groups that made videos? The valuable work of the chamber and community members nurtured the coming together. They placed value on all citizens. Many lives were touched with the memories created from the domesticated expression of love your neighbor.
How can we bring back the love your neighbor? A big thank you to everyone that continue to labor for the higher goal of serving others.
